Terms of Service

Effective date: June 11, 2026. These Terms govern your use of MIX, operated by Suelio, LLC, Cambridge, MA.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the MIX app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. The Service

MIX is a location-aware audio story walk app. It uses your device's GPS position to generate and deliver audio narration tied to the real streets, neighborhoods, and places you walk through. Stories are generated on demand, may include AI-produced content, and are intended for personal, non-commercial use during walks in public spaces.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

MIX offers an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple's App Store. The following terms apply (required by Apple guideline 3.1.2):

• The subscription price is shown to you before purchase in the App Store.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Renewals are charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone).
• No refunds are provided for the unused portion of a subscription period. Refund requests are handled by Apple; you may request a refund through Apple's standard process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MIX only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app; use automated tools to scrape or harvest content from the Service; resell or sublicense access to the Service; or use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

5. Content

MIX generates audio narration using artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information about the places you walk through. Do not rely on MIX narration for navigation, safety decisions, historical accuracy, or any purpose where errors could cause harm. Verify independently before acting on any information delivered through the Service.

We retain ownership of the MIX app, its design, and the underlying systems. AI-generated story content delivered to you during a walk is provided for your personal listening experience and may not be reproduced or redistributed without our permission.

6. Location Use

MIX requires access to your precise location to function. Your location data is used to generate location-relevant story beats and to improve walk quality. Please review our Privacy Policy for a full description of how location data is collected, stored, and shared.

7. Safety Disclaimers

MIX is designed to be used while walking on real streets. Always stay aware of your physical surroundings. Follow traffic signals, watch for vehicles, cyclists, and other pedestrians, and obey local laws. The Service is intended for use with headphones at a safe volume that allows you to hear ambient sounds. Suelio, LLC is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage arising from your use of the Service while walking.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Suelio, LLC and its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use MIX, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms at this URL and update the effective date above. Your continued use of MIX after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, stop using the Service.
